LA-90 is ideal for short-distance calls, e.g. at a hotel reception desk or at a service desk, without having to run the cable typical of loop amplifiers.
 
The Humantechnik LA-90 induction loop amplifier has a built-in microphone that records speech and transmits it via the inductive loop built into its case. The induction loop amplifier is simply placed between the speaker (employees in the counter, in the service area etc.) and the hearing aid wearer (outside the counter), so that the microphone on the back of the Humantechnik LA-90 portable induction loop always points towards the speaker.
 
As soon as the hearing aid wearer has switched their hearing aid to the T-position, they can clearly understand the service employee within the inductive reception range (approx. 1-2 meters from the LA-90 induction loop amplifier), while at the same time disturbing ambient and background noise are largely suppressed.
 
The Humantechnik LA-90 also has a separate microphone input to which a table microphone (not included) can be connected. With the selection switch on the back of its case you can choose which microphone is used to record sound and speech: internal microphone, external microphone or both microphones. The Humantechnik LA-90 is being operated via your home power network (power supply unit included). Alternatively, the induction loop amplifier can be operated for up to six hours using the integrated rechargeable battery.
